Have you looked at the Yorkies that show breeders have? It seems baby doll like faces are very popular with the show dogs. YTCA is a good source of reputable breeders but I don't know if they have their contact persons up yet.

AKC has some very good Yorkshire Terrier breed clubs in your area. I would suggest you go to the AKC website and click on the club search tab. Do a search for a conformation and a breed club in NYS or NJ. They have breeder referral people who can direct you to breeders that they know.

Read all you can and do your own investigation of the breeders. Find out the right questions to ask. Go to a show in your area. It is a great way to see the type of Yorkies that are out there. These breeders usually have pet stock to sell and if you are wise and pick a good reputable breeder you will have a little doll to take home and love. You may have to get on a wait list but they are well worth waiting for.

Breeders that come up on a google search are puppy mills and brokers in disguise. Please don't support these animal abusers. They are great at making websites that look like they have a wonderful playground of healthy pups to sell but it is all deception.
