No one has any idea what we had done or went through that morning to get Daisy help. Some of your assumptions were so off base…You automatically thought the worst...Why?
Not all Veterinarians are there for the comfort and safety of a sick animal. Believe it or not some vets are there just to line their pockets with cash. We are not used to living in a bigger city….We came from “small town” Ohio. Our Vet would still make house calls, let you run a tab and Never would he turn his back on a sick animal because the owner was unable to pay him. When My Precious went into kidney failure, this man cried with me while I held my little girl when he had to give her relief of her pain that final day.. He had been her vet since she was 5 weeks and she died at 16.5 years. (see pic)
I dearly love my three fur babies. I would feed them and get medical care for them, or any animal, before I would for myself.... So when I was being attacked for not getting help fast enough or made to feel as if I did not care for Our Daisy...I was not only shocked but very hurt, so I lashed out.
I am not a hateful or hurtful person....I am the person that would give you the shirt off my back to keep you warm or the last can of food in my cupboard to feed the hungry.

I am sorry, but there were no rotten apples on that thread. The people you singled out are actually very helpful and kind people. I am glad you have chosen to stay, but people were only trying to help you.
I don't think they were judging you either. You must remember that when you post something on an online forum, people will voice their opinions...my advice is to take what you can use and leave the rest behind. This little piece of advice may help you to better understand this forum and enjoy it. So glad your Daisy is ok.
