Same here. To have a cold, still, lifeless Tibbe that didn't respond to me at all would be awful. I don't think I could bear it but apparently those that do it get a great deal of comfort from that image of their dear pet nearby. I can't stand to touch anything dead and I think it would seem like a dead Tibbe!
