My izzy is a yorkipoo as well. And wasn't really eating food when we got her as we were told also. I crushed her puppy food up small and mixed half with hard and half wet merricks dog food and she ate it right up. She is 8 weeks. Plus gave her nutrical call twice daily to be on the safe side.
