Tibbe's got MVD and can't eat regular treats so I make his out of his hepatic kibble that he's allowed to eat. I soak his kibble, then microwave it or bake it to give it additional and different texture, cooking it a different speeds and time lengths to get different results and textures. Sometimes I will turn it out on a pan and dry the treats out and other times put them in a closed container but all of them are kept in the refrigerator after the cooking. Other times I just lightly add some water, stir them up with my fingers for 3-4 minutes to tease out the gravy and refrigerate them. Tibbe loves his treats however I make them and works hard to get them when training. He'll do just about anything for his treats!
