Luci has to be on medication for the rest of her life. She's only two, so she has a lot of years ahead of her. She has just been diagnosed with Microvascular Dysplasia. The pill has to be swallowed whole...it can't be cut up or chewed. I have had some difficulty getting it down...she's supposed to have it on an empty stomach, but a small piece of food can be given to disguise it if necessary.

Day One - Tried to disguise it with peanut butter and cheese...didn't work. Took about 7 tries to get it down. (She loved the pb and cheese though).
Day Two - Took 3 tries to get her to swallow it just as the pill.
Day Three - Took 4 tries to get her to swallow it.

This is going to be a life long event. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this pill into her without having to make multiple attempts every day? I have gotten it down her by opening her mouth, putting it as far back on her tongue as possible, closing her mouth and rubbing her neck till she swallows. Any other suggestions, or know of any small treat that could disguise a pill?
