Yes, you can trim the lower underbelly & inner thigh areas. Along w/arm pits, these are considered high rubbing areas & they tend to tangle. The hairs there are very fine & sensitive to work out, so it's best to just trim them. It's kinda tricky to shave the arm pits, so for that I use a blunt nosed scissor.

When you say under tail, do you mean the butt area? I only trim the hair that's growing out of their poopie hole bc if that's not trimmed, poopie can get stuck on there. I do not shave the bum area & the area under the poopie hole (the runway). If you shave this area, you'll end up w/ baboon butt!

You'll want to use a #10 blade for the sanitary areas.
