Why would they give out pizza and bagels? Seems counterintuitive to me. Or is it just a joke? I mean that lunk alarm is pure comedy right there. I don't think it would keep the college crowd away though, bc it's cheap, that will draw them in.
I overheard a friend of a friend talking about her joining Equinox. She said one of the worker there corrected her when she called it a gym. "It's not a gym, it's a club".
It's more like a dating service. I guess people pay ridiculous amounts to go to a gym so they know everyone else there paid the same (meaning they have lots of money). And have you seen their ads? They use skinny minnie models that look like they couldn't lift a fork to put food in the mouth. Oh wait....
