Thank you got all of your replies. Like I said, I didn't really have any real right to complain with so many others facing much worse conditions.

Sherry, I'd love to come for a visit. I would love to meet you in person!

Well the heating guy came today he was super nice. When I answered the door I had Lollie and Lacie at my feet along with Lollie's three daughters - Savory, Spicy, and Thyme. As soon as he saw the Yorkies he whipped out his phone and started scrolling through his pics so he could show me their 6 year old yorkie cutie. I got so caught up in the moment that I invited this strange man into my home without confirming who he was. That is so not like me. Anyway we talked yorkies for about 20 minutes and then he checked out the furnace. Seems like NOTHING was wrong with the unit, it was just so cold outside that the pipe that drains the water generated by the unit was frozen and it has a shutoff valve that trips when this happens. It really SUCKS when it's too cold outside for your heating unit to work properly.

Fortunately for us, our repair guy was VERY honest and only charged a nominal fee for coming out. If anyone in Rome, GA needs a good honest heating & air conditioning guy that is polite, honest and has a yorkie, just shoot me a pm for a referral.
