I started George out with the CET hygeine rinse to get him used to me being in his mouth. I gave him a treat right after. I still use it because he stands there waiting now. Anyway, the dentist told me a minimum of 3 times/week for brushing. I brush them every afternoon and he is great for it. I first started like I said, with that rinse. Then, I got him used to the taste of the toothpaste (I use the poultry one) ... I started brushing just the front teeth and then after a few days, the back ones. The main thing is that I gave him a treat immediately after. He now associates it with treats.

He stands after meals now waiting for the rinse in the AM and the brushing in the PM.
