Thanks - will wait 6 weeks then and potentially try the diapers as well (although she's not a pup who likes clothes too much).

I read some articles that said not to take them out at all but she's used to decent walks every day and was stir crazy earlier this week when I kept her in. When I have taken her out I kept her on a short leash and picked her up when other dogs got in sight. I have also noticed she is also peeing everywhere - but outside so not as big of a deal as the barking, which I really hope stops once this is over!
