I have had the same problem with my female. I had her first and someone gave me a male. Both were 1 1/2 yrs old and are 3 1/2 now. The first 5 mos went great! Then the female showed jealous toward me and started attacking him. He was so scared but started fighting back after awhile. She is jealous over toys, food etc. I could tell when she was going to get him by that stare she would use. It became a big problem and I know they are fine when I'm not around. I never separated them and Hub's said they were fine when he is alone with them. She has even growled at my Hubby when he has come toward me. I started rolling her over on her back and holding her down and scolding her! This has helped although she tries to start it every once in a while still. I try to show the same attention to both. I wish I had an answer and like you, I don't want to part with either of them. This has been a big challenge! I hope you find answers. And also, both mine have been fixed.
