If there is any chance that this is a sickness (kennel cough), it should absolutely not be done tomorrow. CT and LS are common in Yorkies. They can be diagnosed at any age. If the swallowing issue is chronic it needs to be diagnosed.
Fluids should not be negotiable. General anesthesia = fluids at all times. I honestly would be concerned that they would do it without.
