My little Merry Piper is going in for her spay tomorrow morning, but I'm concerned because she's sounded congested for several days. A lot of reverse sneezing, snorting, etc. My vet thinks I'm overly concerned, but she's had problems with swallowing (water doesn't go all the way down sometimes) and coughing if her throat is touched during baths.
I had $144 worth of bloodwork done yesterday, and they said that came back looking great. I can also have the option of an IV line during surgery for another $96...Is there anything else I need to do to ensure her safety during this procedure or after?
