Like Kristin mentioned, I almost lost Marcel to a petite size CET chew. The petite size are *much* different than the larger size in texture/make...the pieces come off much easier and could easily get lodged in the throat and bc of their gummy/mushy texture when wet, very hard to dislodge!

Now, even though that happened to me - I still think CET chews have great teeth benefits. BUT. BUT, I recommend sizing UP for your dogs. Like for Marcel, for example, the petite is technically the correct size - but I give him the Medium size so that he can't get a piece off of it - he can only just gnaw at it. Our Wylie is larger than Marcel and is a very aggressive chewer, and Mediums work for him too....he can get teensy shreds off of the chew but it never able to get a choke-able chunk off.

Hope that helps!
