I bought the CET HEXtra premium oral hygiene chews for dogs. They are the petite size. They are long and rectangular. What I really meant to ask is, is it ok for them to bite off small pieces and chew them until eventually the whole thing is gone. The assistant at the desk mentioned to me that that is what her dog does. He breaks pieces off the stick, chews it, and eventually eats the whole thing.
If I'm understanding correctly, the only problem with our babies eating these dental chews is that there's a risk of possibly chocking from biting off big pieces and swollowing? Or is the problem related more to issues that can occur internally?
Sorry for hmaking this so confusing!
