I can't help you here. I still can't see my girl ever pooping on a pad. Usually a walk, short or long, will "bring on" the poo. She always goes on the grass but first has to sniff and hunt to find the "right spot". Then she spins several times and goes. It just seems so natural. I can't imagine her just walking over to a pee pad and doing her business! Having her certainly ensures I get at least one walk a day. In bad weather we sometimes won't walk her (she hates rain) she will just let us know and will go in her little fenced area and find a good spot, so a walk is not ALwAyS required.

By the way, the dogs I know prefer the cold weather over the hot, so don't let a little cold stop you from training her to go outside. If your baby does the poo dance (spins in a circle while sniffing the ground) that is the time to take her outside (or to her pad). After she goes have a treat ready immediately. I often had to yell for hubby to quick get the treat as I was rushing her out the door!
