Nothing can 100% can keep hypoglycemia from happening. The best thing to do is make sure your puppy is eating often. Giving nutrical or Karo syrup just because can actually make there sugar go up really high and then suddenly drop. Only give them the stuff for hypoglycemia if they are having a hypoglycemic episode.
