Dettol...I have nightmares about Dettol! As a kid, I decided to talk a short cut home from school through a demolished house lot, fell on the rubble and cut my knees up pretty bad on broken glass. I hobbled home and my Dad cleaned my knees with Dettol
As to the potty pads, I rinse, wash with persil, and then do the final rinse with white vinegar. Works great & no smells.
