I first rinse mine with vinegar, my machine is big, I can do 5 or 6 at a time. I run the rinse cycle first with a cup and half of white vinegar .
Than I run the regular warm wash/cold rinse cycle using Tyde , and dryer follows.
Perfectly clean, fresh smell every time.
If I notice they are starting to get dingy I do another rinse cycle using bleach, but that is done only about 4 times a year.
Someone else mentioned rinsing before washing. It is always what made sense to me. Rinse, wash, dry... Every once in a while, rinse, wash, bleach rinse, dry.
They last a loooooonnnnnngggggg time too.
Xoxo
