I too appreciate Mojo's groomer greatly!!!

She is what I call "a little rough around the edges" and by first impressions, one might think she would not be someone they want to trust their pet with....but is one of the groomers/ladies I have ever met.

I have tried numerous groomers, some I really have liked, but I want to be there with Mojo. Some people think it is great to drop them off, so they can run errands, but not me...I like to stay there...not to make sure the groomer is doing their job or anything like that, but I just want to be there with him.

This groomer recently moved her business to her house (she used to be at a vets office), so she encourages you to stay. I love it since it is close to home too (since I live way out in the woods). She allows you to stay there and talk (she loves to talk!) or you can walk around her place or drive into town for errands.

It doesn't take her long at all. And I think Mojo does better because I am there chatting with this lady (that he thinks it treating him so unkindly), so he is a little more comfortable with her now too. She only charges me $20 for everything too (hair, wash, cut, ears, nails, you name it) and I always tip her well too because I know (from watching her) how her job can be. She loves her job and wouldn't trade it for anything. I even asked about her prices and she said, why raise them like everyone else, when I am doing the same thing and it isn't costing me anymore to do it now then it did.

I think she likes the company and likes to see the doggies that come in...and she puts up with me....that right there deserves a big tip! HA! She never cares if I ask questions or am not sure what I want done or if I want to try something different......there should be more like her out there! I think finding that one excellent groomer is like finding that one hairstylist that you only want to use or that one friend that you confide to.....finding that one groomer is one of the most important pieces of owning a pet (I think it is up there with finding a good vet).
