You've received some great suggestions and just wanted to also mention the option of starting w/ premade raw if you're too worried about bones. As to a puppy's 'system' not being ready for raw, that's just not accurate. A puppy's system, just like a wolf puppy, has the ability to handle raw, cooked, kibble, or canned. That said, all individual puppies can have certain intolerances...but those intolerances could easily include kibble or a carrot or whatever random thing...not just 'raw'.
