I'd go with the larger Male...
One may appreciate the security issues that Males provide as they grow and acclimate to you and your residence. When provided with stairs/ramps to observation points, will observe and alarm when there is any intrusion. They're very alert and I certainly feel a lot safer with my Males watching out for me. (I have two)
