Thanks for the replies! As of now I am also leaning towards the small male but that could change in the coming hours. Personally, I am a bit lazy, irresponsible, and antisocial which is why I am getting the pup. I have always handled life better when my schedule is full of things to do- and I know that having a puppy will be a great way to get more responsible, fill up my day, and get out and be a bit more social through training classes and walks. I am currently in college but am living with my parents. My parents said that they will make sure the puppy is taken care of when I am in class but every other moment the puppy is my responsibility. We also live with a nine year old male Cocker Spaniel named Boomer. I have heard that I should get a female since Boomer is male, but our last female dog ignored everyone but my dad which is why I am so nervous about picking the female in the litter. I know every puppy is different, but I won't be able to see the litter again before making my final choice so I have to consider everything.
