Hi YorkieTalk!
For my birthday, my parents took me to look at a litter of seven week old Yorkies. The Yorkies come from the same breeder who bred our amazing Cocker Spaniel, Boomer, so I have no doubts that the puppies are happy and healthy. The litter has only three puppies, so I was able to see all three when she drove them out to us. I truly cannot decide on which puppy I should pick! I was not allowed to touch the pups because they are so young, so I only have visuals to base my choice off of. All three of the pups are so adorable and seem to already have pretty distinct personalities.
Here's a picture of the three
The zebra towel was covering a warm water bottle (it was really cold outside!)

The puppy on the left is the smallest male. During the visit, he was the most rambunctious and curious of the group despite the fact that this was an entirely new environment for them. He liked to chew the paper and the towel. He even tried to escape the crate a couple of times! I thought his little attitude was adorable! The breeder says he will probably be 3-4 pounds as an adult.
The one in the middle is the bigger male. He seemed very timid. He hung in the back corner of the crate during most of the visit but eventually became curious and more active. By the end of the visit, he had come to the front of the crate and was even barking a little. I don't really know if he was timid or just cold but his ears never went back when I moved my hand into the crate and I don't think his pupils were dilated. The breeder says he will likely grow to be 5 pounds.
The puppy at the far right is the female. She seemed very calm and content the whole visit and was the most curious to my presence of the three. When I put my hand in the kennel, she was the first to acknowledge me and try to sniff my hand. I got the "sweet little angel" vibe from her, definitely! Like the small male, the breeder says that she will likely be 3-4 pounds.
I am planning to feed the pup I pick a raw diet once they are old enough and I am even thinking about taking the pup to therapy dog training if it's calm enough.
I took some video of the three during our visit.

The beginning of the video was taken during the beginning of the visit, right after the crate was opened. After the fade and perspective change (I forgot to put my phone in landscape mode) the film skips to the end of the visit after the puppies had become much more active.
Personally, I thought the female had the most mellow personality of the three which would probably make her the best choice.... But I am a girl myself and I know from experience that female dogs are more likely to bond with men in the house. Since this puppy is my responsibility, I would much rather have it bond with me than with my dad or boyfriend....
Then come the two males. The littlest one is such a charmer and I loved his little firecracker personality. However, the fact he was so bold and rambunctious in such a new environment makes me wonder if he will be difficult to train and control.
The bigger male is the most curious one. While at first glance I thought he was terrified of everything going on, now I think he may have just been cold. When the breeder began petting the other pups, he came right up to her and began acting much more active. I also don't think he was acting frightened when I put my hand in the crate (he may have growled once or twice). Perhaps it just takes him a while to warm up to someone? I'm not sure. Is a timid Yorkie really a bad thing? I know timid dogs can be trained to be more social, so perhaps I can correct the timid behavior. Or maybe I'm just seeing things wrong?
What do you all think? Do the puppies look good according to breed standards? Do you see anything in the video that I don't? I really think I need some feedback before just making a decision.
Before I end this off, here are two more picture that I thought were pretty cute.
