 Downside to Edgewood
If you can find a breeder who only breeds a few litters a year, you may have a more socialized pet. Cynthia would not let me visit inside her kennel. I must say that this is not such a great sign of cleanliness. Also my other yorkie who came from a small breeder with an excellent reputation would hold each puppy for about 20 minutes a few times a day. This can not be the case with a high volume breeder. Also the going price for one of the Edgewood yorkies is high. Please ask the price before the visit or you may have to be revived. The female that I bought from Cynthia had already decided to go home with me so I paid the price. She has not increased the price in 10 years but it is very high for a dog. I understand that there are only a few puppies in each litter but I did not think that dog breeding made millionaires. I may be wrong. |
