I am very sorry for your loss. I have lost my beloved Yorkie and last Friday my cat so I understand how you are feeling. It gets easier I promise.

I think you should ask your Girlfriend how she is feeling about you bringing your a yorkie over. Personally if I had not been dog sitting my Moms dog the week Indie died I can't say how I would have made it through. It may help her to snuggle with him.

As for the euthanasia procedure it seems very strange for the Vet to have done this. I have assisted in many home procedures as a Vet Assistant and can assure you that your experience is not the norm.

Again please tell your girlfriend that she did the right thing and that we are very sorry for her loss.
