Very sorry for the loss of Miles, he sounded like a really cool dog. I've never even heard of in home euthanasia, so have nothing to add there. I lost my Megan, a 15 year old Yorkie, the day after Memorial day, I had her put to sleep, as I had promised never to let her suffer. As for Miles, he's no longer hurting or sick, and you did the right thing, and believe me, I know it hurts. As for taking your taking Ruger over to your gf's house, talk to her, it may just take her some time. I hope you both try to remember the good things, and try not to dwell on any bad, it really helped me. Again so sorry for your loss, I hope the rest of the holidays get better for the both of you.
