They need to smell their own scent and will relate to that is the right place to go.
I change mine every 4 or 5 days and try and leave some poo so they know but pick up some too. I have a tiny too. Takes time and patience. But my Zoey has really come around these past few weeks and she is 6 months.
My baby really did the turnaround when I started rewarding her and praising her , trainers say use that higher pitch happy voice, they just wiggle trying to please you. But watch her every move and walk over and guide her a little saying pee pee on pads or potty on pads when you see her start getting sniffy or walking in circles....
We live where it's cold and Zoey is bell trained so sometimes she rings bell and looks at me and if it's too dark I say nooooo, go pee pee on pads and she will go right to them . Be patient and diligent , it's so well worth it, you will be rewarded, they just want to please you.
