the car harness that hooks into the seat belt was the first that I tried. the one with the sheep skin. It was too heavy for mine. but i did use the strap that was with it and hooked it right into their regular harness. that came in handy. I also have the car seats and was never able to get ahia to stay in hers. buckeye was no problem. If your yorkie has not got much interest in looking out the window all the time the seat belt is a good idea. In my way of thinking.
