I agree. It's probably the food along with his aversion to his own poop. Try changing gradually to other brands until you find the right combination. I have one pup that got spots on her skin and severe runny tummy off and on for months until I found what was best for her. She is also the one who goes behind the bushes or a big flower pot when she has to do her business. She prefers her privacy. Each one is different and you just have to find the right formula.
