I am taking my 3 girls for the first time on a 9-10 hour car ride to Tennessee. Pixie has a thunder shirt and I have Xanax from the vet for Pixie's anxiety. I won't use it unless she gets stressed on the way. I also have rescue remedy spray I'll spray the car with. They will all 3 be in a large soft crate in the back seat belted in. Pixie and Roxie usually just lay in the crate on short trips. I'm hoping they will do the same in the long trip. Cali gets antsy even on short trips and wants out of the crate. My daughter will be traveling with me and she us the only person this Cali will let hold for long periods of time. So hopefully if she gets restless my dd can hold her and calm her down. |
