He will go fast. I pray it is to someone who understands that little dogs can sometimes take work to potty train. I have seen people adopt small dogs at my HS and return them the same day because they peed in the house. Lord knows how long these pups are in the system...passed from shelter to shelter to craigslist ad to petfinder to homeless.
I think being purebred at least gives him a better chance of not being euthanised...if he's healthy.
They may have a wait list for people who requested to be contacted if a yorkie comes in. That would probably be a better scenario than if any random person who sees a cute tiny dog and wants it for Christmas as an impulse buy. :/
