You are probably right with the neutering thing. When we adopted my friends dog, he had to be neutered. They wouldn't have spent the time or money unless they knew he was going.
My girlfriend seems to think that he's going to be nabbed quick because a small purebred dog at a shelter. I had seen another adorable little guy around his age on Petfinder that was at a home based rescue close to me and he was gone within 2 days.
I am going to call them on Monday to see what they say!!He just got neutered on Thursday so I am thinking he just got in there. I'd have to wait until after Thanksgiving to adopt him as I am going to be heading home this week. Depending on what they say, I am going to call a couple of the rescues around me to see if they'd be willing to work with me on getting him a new family.
