We send our prayers to you at this very difficult time. You and Popi will both have finally have peace now from the brave fight she put forth this whole week.
We do have our four kitties buried here at home by the two walnut trees on the outer edge of the yard. (The only one left at the vet's was our white kitty who was put to sleep due to advanced cancer, and I wish I had her brought her back home.) My miniature Schnauzer, 'Bart', is resting under a black walnut tree overlooking the farmhouse. I don't know where your home is, but Popi was so very tiny that perhaps she could be buried in your garden or by a favorite tree. (My husband dug our pets' resting spots down almost 3 feet.) My friend who lives in the city had her first doggie buried out on her friend's farm and her second dog, Sophie, her welsh corgi, was cremated and her ashes are in a little metal box with her name and dates on it. It all depends on your own feelings & needs for a final closure, and where you live. God bless you & little Popi--Sue & Taffy |
