Thank you. It is breaking my heart. I had talked to her for hours, before agreeding to make the trip to see the puppies. I told her about the way my little Kia died, and she promised me, that she would make sure my puppy had a thorough Vet exam, to make sure she/he was 100% healthy.
I feel the same way as you. I am still so very heartbroken over Kia dying.
We have to put Tacrolimus drops in his eyes, twice a day, and they sting. The Ophthamologist at Purdue in West LaFayette, that my Vet is consulting, advised trying the drops to see if there is any tissue, at all, to stimulate tear production.
He has to go back for his 3rd Schimrer tear test next Tuesday.
I just keep praying that the drops will work.
