We have used Vaseline at the incisions for both surgery and c-sections and never had any diarrhea. That is why I mentioned 'sensibly' . It keeps it clean, prevents any lint to dry and stick to the incision, safe for the newborns when nursing. I imagine it must take a 'non sensible ' amount of Vaseline to be ingested and cause diarrhea ... But thanks for the reminder, someone may interpret it wrong, now it is clear.
