I'm just seeing your thread. Very happy to hear Zoey's spay went well and that she is recovering nicely.

I agree with your vet about the Neosporin. The risk of licking is why I have never used it or cortisone cream on my pups. We use organic coconut oil instead. It has healing and anti-bacterial properties.

If something more serious is required, then I would use an e-collar to prevent licking.
