When your car radio was just AM frequency Televisions with dials and only 13 channels |
MY hubby still has his and a case of tapes.
Yep, only 13 channels but if you turned the inner dial you could get more. And when my dad would make us kids stand there and turn the dial until he found something worth watching. "back and forth and back in forth, waiting for commercials to end"...ugh !!

Do you remember when your phone number was only FIVE digits? Mine was 4-8220 as a kid!
Do you remember the dang cords on telephones? So annoying as a teenager when you need your privacy to discuss extremely important dramatic things! |
Do you remember the really long coil cords? Long enough to stretch into the bathroom so we can sit on the toilet lid and speak in private. We had a 10 min time limit for phone calls.
I also remember that those when we were kids my mom worked at the telephone co and could pop in on our
extremely important dramatic things any time she wanted. So, frustrating.
