When my daughter was in kindergarten, in WV, I had just finished nursing school and decided to be a room mother. I had a blast. One day we had our kids out on they playground. The teacher began to cry. She said it breaks her heart to know which kids didn't stand a chance due to family situations and involvement. Sad part, I watched most of those kids grow up.
