Thank you so much to GizmosDogShop. The onsie is a great idea! But....my Bella has left those stitches alone and is doing very well!
Cocos Mum16, I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going thru. I wish I had some answers for you, but I am a new Yorkie owner, so I'm still learning. What did your vet say?
BillieHolliday, when I was looking for my yorkie, I thought I wanted a boy, because that is what I've always had when I had a dog....but then I decided to go and look at the pups and decide which one was best for me. It ended up being my sweet Bella. She was active, friendly and not skittish. I think you need to just look at the pups and see which is best for you. Thinking now, I remember you said you were going on Tuesday, so my advice is too late....so, what did you decide?
Kasey11, thank you so much for your reply. Bella did great. My vet keeps the pups over night, so I picked her up on Saturday morning, and she busted a gut to get into her carrier when they brought her out to me. Guess she missed home! Bella didn't need a cone, amazingly she hasn't bothered her stitches at all. They did the hidden stitches under her skin that resolve, so maybe that has something to do with it? The directions did say to not let her run or jump. Which was great on Saturday....but then on Sunday I couldn't keep the girl down! She was running around the house and then jumping onto the couch! I've continued to watch her and the incision, and all looks good. I guess she is a real trooper and a typical 'woman' to be....because you know us women endure pain much better than the males!! I'm still learning and trying to figure out how to get around this site, so I'm hoping to be able to post more pix soon!
I just hope I've done this reply right!!
