My Momo has dewclaws & his tail, the person I got him from never docked it. My vet thinks it's bc he was too small, when I got him @ 8 weeks, he was only 14ozs. This was b4 YT & it was a situation where I needed to get him out of there (or maybe that was my excuse to 'save' him
). A girl was selling him 'for her uncle' & her toddler son was throwing big toys @ them, there were 2 yorkie pups, including Momo. Anyway, I love his 3" tail, so expressive but his dewclaw did get ripped off when he was playing w/a ball under the sofa, must've got caught on the sofa or berber carpet, not sure. Never found the dewclaw nail, but it grew back.
