well he's adorable! and he looks predominantly yorkie. from the size however if he's 8 weeks, (he looks older) he's definitely going to be outside of the standard range - but many are so I wouldn't worry.
One comment though just because you've brought it up. If he's related to the black dog - that's not a maltese mix. That is a mix of something else. Maybe miniature schnauzer or poodle? Not sure, but maltese are white... so something's not adding up there.
