I have a pup with lymphangectasia. She was diagnosed in 2001. Here is a link to her thread...perhaps it will have some useful information for you:

I don't know if you have been to a specialist, but I would recommend that in selecting a diet you go to a board certified nutritionist if you are planning on not feeding dog food. I would think that a raw diet would be majorly contraindicated in PLE but I am not a nutritionist. You can find a vet nutritionist at: American College of Veterinary Nutrition You could also go to PetDiets - VNC putting your pet's health first .. for more than 20 yrs! which is a website run by a vet nutritionist. If you go to the FAQs page, you can submit a question and she will answer it. I am sure she could advise you about a raw diet for these pups.

I home cook for Cookie and have been told that it is part of the reason that she has done so well. Diet is of utmost importance in this condition. The only dog food that was suggested to me for her was Royal Canine Low Fat.

I think you would probably get more feedback if you are in either Sick and Injured or Health and Diet. I will PM to see if this thread can get moved to one of those forums.
