It's hard to say if it'll go away. What you can do to help it though is to put some antibiotic cream on it, bc that may help. My Wylie is prone to skin inf too (pyoderma/staph) -- so my Vet gave my some prescription ointment for when he just has a couple spots show up, I can use it and it will go away...you should ask for this from your vet if Callie is prone, it's called Mupirocin (sp?).
