I don't blame you for not wanting another pup from the same litter. This breeder needs to take responsibility for this medical condition. What does your Health Guarantee for this pup state about medical issues and congenital conditions? |
Thank you, Vicki.
Esp. for your prayers for my little one. The health guarantee covers congenital conditions that would cause death.
The breeder will only take him back, in exchange for another puppy.
For 3 months after my little Kia died, I didn't leave my bedroom for 3 months. My MS progressed rapidly. For 6 months, I literally woke from nightmares about her, screaming!
I didn't go out socially, at all, for 7 months.
When I spoke to this breeder, I told her about my MS and how depressed I was over losing my little Kia, so unnecessarily. (I lost her two years to the date that I lost my sweet Sydney.) She promised me, that she would take the puppy to the Vet, and make sure he was 100% healthy, before we made the 2nd trip, to bring him home.
My MS is progressing further, from the stress of worrying about him. My husband e-mailed the breeder & asked her to please send his registration papers before 11/25, because I need to see our Attorney and have a Living Trust & DNR in place, because I may have surgery right after the 1st of the year. (Not related to my MS)
She said she was sorry, she had offered to take him back, but that is all she can do.
So, we just pray very hard, he won't need the surgery. He is so tiny-I am afraid I will lose him.
I "thought" I had done my homework about this breeder. All 3 of my girls, over 32 years, came to us, so healthy, from wonderful Show breeders.
