Default My Yorkie, Boo Radley, has lymphangiectasia.

Hi, I'm new to this great site and wish to give some background on my Yorkie, Boo Radley. He has been treated for lymphangiectasia for 5 months now. He is being fed the canned and dry Hills Prescription Diet i/d Low Fat, GI Restore food. He has also been on Prednisone and is now down to 1/4 pill of 1.25 mg. His allergies are returning as the Prednisone is diminished, but his protein levels have been normal. He has gained weight, weighing 13.8lbs 3 weeks ago. I believe his best weight to be 12 lbs. or a bit less. He turned 5 years old on Oct. 10th. I'm sure the steroid has added weight plus his appetitie is increased on it. He has an AM appointment with his vet for a fasting blood test and fecal sample test tomorrow.

Here is my question. Have any Yorkie owners with pets having lymphangiectasia ever tried feeding them Stella and Cheweys Raw Diet? It's supposed to be great for eliminating Intestinal Bowel Syndrone, allergies and a wonderful cure - all. Please let me know. I'm seriously considering asking my vet to let me try it. Your feedback would be so helpful. Thanks, Mimi
