sounds like she gets stressed when you leave so she pees right where you saw her last. Jess did that too.
I would start at square one. That means put her in a pen in your room (don't give her run of the room she has to earn it) put in a bed water/food and cover the rest with pee pads. as she consistently goes on a pad remove them one by one until she no longer goes anywhere but the pee pad. You can get pens at petmart, craigslist, a lot of places. If your trying to just out door train her your going to have to most likely crate train. That's a lot of time getting up at night etc.
I know its hard but I can tell you all of a sudden it clicks with them. Almost overnight. Jess still has very occasional accidents but shes 99% pad trained.
I wouldn't spank her but be firm when she does make a mess and say "no no" also when she does pad pee make sure you go crazy happy and give her a treat. Don't give any treats unless she did her business where you want her to. |
