| Hello!
Hello Carrie & Bella! From your profile pic, Bella looks adorable, hopefully you'll post some pictures. As for getting your baby fixed, my Sasha girl was recently fixed and she did well with the cone. She kept it on for a week and was a little sore during the process but she managed. She came home from the vet and was a little loopy from the anesthesia. She relaxed in her bed and got up only to drink, eat and cuddle. I didn't let her use her puppy stairs or go down the stairs in my house just because I did not want her to exert herself. [Fyi, since she will have the cone on, I say get a soft leash that you can drape over her cone, there was no way of getting the harness over her cone.] Anyways, a couple days later and Sasha was fine. At the end, I let her relax on the bed with me and took off the cone, (monitored of course) and she tried to bother her stitches but I wouldn't let her. Other than that, don't be worried. If you trust your vet she'll be in good hand. Good luck!
