I am desperate to get some help, my 8 year old healthy Yorkie Coco died on Thursday the 24th October and I am devastated. She was happy and healthy in morning and then when last seen a 5pm was still healthy and happy. When we returned at 10pm she had been vomitting & diaherra everywhere and looked pitiful. Within minutes she was staggering and fell to her side. While lying in her crate (me watching over her) she lifted her back leg, which was something I had never seen her do before. I wrapped her up in a towel and we were enroute to 24 hour vet and within minutes of the car ride she died in my arms. Can anyone come up with why this would have happened to a healthy dog. She was up to date with vet checks, feed top food and did not spend a lot of time outside. I am not only devastated by her passing but desperate for an answer. I couldn't bring myself to having an autopsy on her.
